Vandals Key Six Cars in Related Incidents, Cops Say

Police looking for information leading to vandals.

Parsippany Police officers are investigating two instances of criminal mischief in which six cars were intentionally scratched.

Police were called to Dartmouth Village Apartments on Baldwin Road at 6:11 p.m. on Monday.

“Two vehicles were scratched at that location with what appeared to be a key or similar metal object,” said Parsippany Community Relations Officer Earl Kinsey.

At 6:58 p.m. on the same day, police were called to the intersection of North Beverwyck Road and Chesapeake Avenue.

Four cars were also intentionally scratched in the same manner, said Kinsey.

“There is currently no monetary estimate of the extent of the damage to the vehicles available,” he said.
