Police: Undercover Cop Busts San Francisco Woman for Prostitution

Woman allegedly accepted cash and offered sexual acts at Red Roof Inn.

A San Francisco woman was arrested Thursday after arranging to meet and allegedly offering sexual acts for money from an undercover detective, said.

According to a statement released Friday by the police department, Li Ling Tang, 36, was charged with prostitution and released on her own recognizance.

The Special Enforcement Unit was alerted to Tang's alleged activity by an online advertisement that identified her as "Amy," police said.

After arranging an appointment for a massage, Tang allegedly accepted $160 from the undercover officer at the on Route 46 Thursday night at about 6:15 p.m., police said. Tang then disrobed and allegedly offered sexual acts, police said.
