Reward Offered in Lake Hiawatha Rite Aid Robbery

Police probe continues into Oct. 7 robbery of North Beverwyck Road drug store.

The Rite Aid Pharmacy Corp. is offering a $2,500 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who robbed its North Beverwyck Road branch last Oct. 7, Parsippany Police announced Thursday.

Two men—one claiming to have a gun—approached a cashier at the front of the pharmacy in Lake Hiawatha and fled with $300, police said.

Officer Earl Kinsey, a spokesman for the police department, said police seek two men believed to be in their early 20s and described as white, thin and about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 in height. At the time of the robbery, one man was wearing a grey hooded-sweatshirt with “Tapout” written on the chest and the other was wearing a black baseball cap and a black sweatshirt.
