Seizure May Have Caused Parsippany Man's Fatal Crash

James Palladino, 32, was killed in a crash on Route 287 in August, according to police.

New information released by state police shows a 32-year-old Parsippany driver killed in a crash on Route 287 last month may have had a seizure behind the wheel, according to NJ.com.

James Palladino was driving on Route 287 South on Aug. 15 when he drove off the road and crashed into the woods near Exit 40, State Police Sgt. Adam Grossman told NJ.com.

At the time, police did not give a possible cause for the crash, but an investigator's report and witness account have indicated that Palladino may have suffered from a seizure just minutes before the crash, NJ.com reported. State police have not said whether Palladino had suffered from seizures previously and an investigation is still ongoing.
