Stanhope Woman Nabbed on Outstanding Warrants

The following arrest information was supplied by the Parsippany Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Parsippany Police report the arrest of a 20-year-old Stanhope woman early  Tuesday morning on two outstanding warrants.

While on patrol in the area of North Beverwyck Road  just before 2:30 a.m., police said Officers Thomas Dinkelspiel and Jason Ferreira observed a vehicle swerving over the double yellow line while driving. The officers reportedly stopped the vehicle on Longview Avenue.

After a brief investigation, the officers learned that the driver of the vehicle, later identified as Laura Wortman of Stanhope, had two outstanding criminal arrest warrants. According to police, one of the warrants issued for her arrest was issued by the Stanhope Municipal Court in the amount of $907. The other came from the Roxbury Municipal Court in the amount of $689.
