State Police Seek Suspected Hit-And-Run Driver
A red Toyota that reportedly crashed into another vehicle in Montville this morning is still at large.
New Jersey State Police report a hit-and-run accident took place in Montville on eastbound I-80 at approximately 8:49 this morning. According to spokesperson Lt. Stephen Jones, a red Toyota hit a GMC Envoy in the rear and sped away, possibly via Route 46.
The Toyota, Jones said, may have suffered heavy front-end damage as a result of the crash. There were no injuries, he added, and asked local police departments to be on the lookout for the red Toyota.
