Three Men Flee After Two Burglary Attempts

Police still searching for suspects.

The advised residents to be on the lookout for three males who are suspected of two attempted burglaries that took place on Tuesday evening.

According to a department press release, both incidents—one on Winfield Drive around 6:40 p.m. and the other on Greenbriar Road at approximately 7 p.m.—involved one of the men ringing the doorbell repeatedly and then vacating to another spot on the property before either homeowner could get to the door.

The three males, all of whom were described as black and wearing dark, hooded sweatshirts that covered most of their faces, were then discovered standing elsewhere on each property. At the Winfield Drive residence, they were found in the home’s downstairs foyer, while they were spotted in the rear yard of the Greenbriar Road home before fleeing the scene.
