Two Injuries, Traffic Slowed After I-280 Accident
Occupants of both cars transported to the hospital.
Two injuries were reported after an accident that slowed traffic westbound on Interstate 280 near New Road Thursday morning in Parsippany, according to a trooper at the New Jersey State Police Totowa barracks.
The accident, which occurred at about 9 a.m., involved two vehicles and occupants of both vehicles were transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital for treatment, the trooper said.
Police remained on the scene investigating the crash at approximately 10:30 a.m., while a grey car was being towed from the scene and traffic was limited to one lane going westbound.
The investigation is still ongoing and no further information was immediately available.
