Two Parsippany Men Jailed in Connection With Alleged Cocaine Distribution Ring

Investigation reveals six conspired to sell marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs, report says.

Two Parsippany men have been arrested on dozens of various counts of drug distribution charges, one of which is allegedly at the center of it all.

According to nj.com, Michael Zapata-Bonilla, 36, faces 33 drug charges that include intent to distribute cocaine during the period of June 2 through June 17. Zapata-Bonilla has also been charged with child endangerment, the report said.

He is currently being held on $150,000 bail in the Morris County Correctional Facility.

Robert Serrechia, 28, also of Parsippany, is currently in jail in lieu of $25,000 bail on marijuana and cocaine charges, the report said. Serrechia’s original bail was set at $75,000 but lowered by Judge Stuart Minkowitz last week, the report said.

The Parsippany men are joined by four others in the multi-month investigation that included direct purchases, the report said.
