Two Sedgefield-Area Houses Burglarized

Both residences had windows pried open.

Two homes in the Sedgefield neighborhood were burglarized over the weekend, according to Parsippany Police.

Sgt. Yvonne Christiano said entry was gained into a Little John Road on Saturday by prying a rear window open. An estimated $4,400 in items were reported stolen, including a flat-screen TV, computers, a video camera, cash and jewelry.

Police said a second home, on Friar Road, was burglarized sometime between Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday morning at 2 a.m.  Entry was gained through a basement bathroom window that was pried open, police said. A flat-screen TV was reported stolen.
