Whitewood Drive is right on the edge of Mt. Tabor. In 2010 Mt. Tabor experienced a house break in while the homeowners were sleeping. Their computer was stolen. The historical society in Mt. Tabor wants to promote tourism in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood. It's part of the requirement to get historic district grants from Morris County. That means more strangers will be coming to the area. They already come to Mt. Tabor because of the historical society's house tour - a perfect opportunty for burglars to inspect the inside of houses - and for a series of rock concerts. Once a quiet neighborhood becomes a tourist destination, it's likely crime will follow.
