Two women parked in the L.A. Fitness Gym on Rt. 46 both had their cars broken into and items stolen Monday night, Parsippany police said.

Officer Thomas Armenti responded to the business at 8:29 p.m. for a report of a burglarized vehicle and upon his arrival spoke with the victim, who said that when she left the fitness center she found her car was forcibly entered by shattering the passenger side window, police said.

The woman told Armenti a pink Marc Jacobs bag was stolen, which contained documents and $10, police said.

While continuing the investigation, another woman approached Armenti in the parking lot at 9:15 p.m. and said her car was burglarized and the rear driver side window was shattered, police said. The woman said her orange Coach bag was stolen, which contained documents and anywhere between $500 and $600 cash, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incidents to contact the Parsippany Police Department at 973-263-4300 or by emailing crime_tips@parpolice.com.

I frequent the Pathmark next door and I have to say that I've been seeing some shady looking people roaming around there. If a dopehead can't see your valuables, they're not going to waste time searching... Hide them or don't bring them.
