Xbox, Video Games Stolen Lead to Man's Arrest

Parsippany resident accused of stealing items from Englishtown Road residence last week.

A township man was arrested for allegedly stealing an Xbox 360 system, video games and system accessories from an Englishtown Road residence last week, Parsippany Police.

Anthony Almonte, 28, was arrested following an investigating into the incident, which occurred last Monday, Sept. 10 sometime between 4 and 8 p.m., police said.

The resident reported the burglary the next morning and believed entry was gained through a side entrance, police said. However, there were no signs of forced entry, police said.

The investigation led to the arrest of Almonte on Thursday, police said.

Almonte was released pending a court appearance.
