Tuesday is the last day to register for the Nov. 6 presidential election—and the Parsippany municipal clerk's office is doing its part to help residents make it under the wire.
Clerk Yancy Wazirmas said the office will be open late Tuesday—until 9 p.m.
"We want to make sure everyone has a chance to register," she told Patch.
If you wish to register to vote online, the deadline is the same; you can do so at rockthevote.com.
Those in the military and overseas don't have to miss out on fulfilling their civic duty: Register via the Federal Voting Assistance program website.
Wazirmas said the Parsippany clerk's office can also help those who are already registered and wish to vote by mail.
She said forms are available at Town Hall for residents to pick up, fill out and send to the county clerk. The deadline for mail-in ballots to be received is Oct. 30, according to the clerk's office.
If you wish to vote early and in person, visit the county clerk's office at 10 Court Street in Morristown. The deadline for early voting is Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.
