Clerk's Office Extends Last-Day Hours for Voter Registration

The deadline to register to cast a vote in the general election is Oct. 16.

Tuesday is the last day to register for the Nov. 6 presidential election—and the Parsippany municipal clerk's office is doing its part to help residents make it under the wire.

Clerk Yancy Wazirmas said the office will be open late Tuesday—until 9 p.m.

"We want to make sure everyone has a chance to register," she told Patch.

Wazirmas said the Parsippany clerk's office can also help those who are already registered and wish to vote by mail.

She said forms are available at Town Hall for residents to pick up, fill out and send to the county clerk. The deadline for mail-in ballots to be received is Oct. 30, according to the clerk's office.

If you wish to vote early and in person, visit the county clerk's office at 10 Court Street in Morristown. The deadline for early voting is Nov. 5 at 3 p.m.
