Council Vote Could Raise Salaries for CFO, Business Administrator by Thousands

Two position's salary ranges would skyrocket one year after original ordinance.

An ordinance to alter the salary range of two township positions is currently waiting approval from the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township council, and could bring forth a big change in how much pay is earned.

The ordinance, number 2014:15, would amend ordinance number 2013:16 establishing “white collar” salary ranges for the Chief Financial Officer and Business Administrator, with a minimum annual pay of $75,000 and maximum annual pay of $150,000.

The current salary range for the township’s business administrator is a minimum of $75,000 and a maximum of $125,000. The current salary range for the Chief Financial Officer is a minimum of $50,000 and a maximum of $145,000. Those figures were part of the ordinance approved in June 2013.
