Final List Reveals 11 Candidates Running for Town Council

Seven Republicans and four Democrats will compete for seats on the governing body.

There are 11 candidates running for Parsippany-Troy Hills township council this year, including four Republican incumbents, according to the final candidate list released Thursday by the clerk's office.

Council President John Fox, Vice President Michael dePierro and Councilman Brian Stanton will on the Republican ticket.

Their challengers will Annelise Catanzaro, Janice McCarthy, Tom Wyka and Robert Hoffacker, as well as Republicans and .

Vincent Ferrara, a Republican who was appointed by Mayor James Barberio in December to fill a seat , who was elected to the Morris County board of freeholders last year, will run to finish the last two years of the unexpired term, but will be challenged for the seat by Bob Crawford, who is stepping down from the Board of Education.
