General Election Voting Tuesday

Parsippany voters hit the polls Tuesday for the 2011 general election. On the ballot are candidates vying for seats in the New Jersey General Assembly, in the state Senate and on the Morris County Board of Freeholders. There is also a local race that pits the incumbents of against the Vote for Parsippany ticket over three 4-year seats on the Township Council. An additional race is uncontested: In the absence of a challenger, the 2-year council seat that belonged to Freeholder Ann Grossi goes to .

Voting locations will be open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
