Nine Par-Troy Retirees Pocket Big Pensions in 2011

More than 1,200 public retirees in NJ receive pensions that exceed $100,000.

Nine former public employees in Parsippany are part of the so-called "$100K" club, receiving more than $100,000 in pensions from the state of New Jersey.

Parsippany's highest pensions, $120,015 and $114,751 respectively, were paid to former police chief Michael Peckerman (now a Colorado resident) and to Vincent Aniello, the school district's retired assistant  superintendent of special services.

Last year, 1,244 former employees collected more than $100,000 according to New Jersey Watchdog. This number has increased by 28 percent since 2010, according to the publication.
