UPDATED: Eagles Tribute Concert is On, But Without Barbecue
Due to storm cleanup and overworked staff, the township cancels some events this week, but the Eagles tribute concert will go on.
The township website reports that the Tuesday night concert, Hotel California: A Salute to the Eagles, will go on as planned with one change. The barbecue scheduled to precede the performance has been cancelled.
The concert is slated to start at 7:30 p.m. at Veterans' Memorial Park.
Other municipal events will not take place.

Tuesday's scheduled event offering free skin cancer screenings has been cancelled, according to the official website of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.
Also cancelled is a Wednesday event offering free dental and blood pressure screenings to senior citizens.

The cancellations are the result of municipal staff having to focus on the Irene cleanup effort.
If word of screening reschedulings is announced, Patch will post the details.
