School Board Candidates to Court Tea Party

Two BOE hopefuls will appear at the political party's next meeting in Whippany.

The nonpolitical Parsippany Board of Education election will be highlighted at the next meeting of the New Jersey Tea Party's local branch, which will be held at the Whippany Veterans of Foreign Wars building at 750 Route 10 West on Friday, Sept. 28.

Two Par-Troy school board candidates, Anthony DeIntinitis and James Carifi (or a surrogate), are expected to attend the gathering in hopes of winning official endorsements, according to Jeffrey Weingarten, president of the Morristown Tea Party Organization.

Also making an appearance at the podium will be current school board member Susy Golderer, as well as 11th District U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, state Sen. Joseph Pennacchio, Fight Waste NJ Chairman Tim Smith and conservative talk radio personality Steve Malzberg.
