What Should Replace Chili's?

Patch wants to hear your ideas for filling vacant business buildings.

When , vacated its spot at 1540 Route 46 last year, Patch heard quite the hue and cry. Apparently, there is a love for Mexican- and U.S. southwest-themed specialties in the township.

Accompanying the seeming hole in Parsippany's gustatory offerings are the huge building and expansive parking lot left empty on Route 46 West, which the national chain's local franchise once occupied.

Of course, it would benefit the town to have the space filled. So what do you think would work for Chili's former space? Tell us what you would like to see in the comments. We will take your suggestions and pass them along to the township's one-man economic development committee, Mayor James Barberio.

Please share your ideas. Your idea just may be the one to bring a new enterprise into town and enlivening that bit of Parsippany's busiest thoroughfare. Share your thoughts below.
