OMG, where to begin. One of their drivers sideswiped my brand new (less than 6 months old) vehicle while I was stopped in traffic getting onto Rt. 53 from Rt 80. He cut over a solid line because he didn't have the patience to wait 10 seconds for the traffic to move. He scraped the left rear side of my vehicle. If that wasn't enough he actually made me chase him down to get him to stop and then said he didn't know he hit me. Seriously? I tried to be amicable and I agreed to take it to a shop they recommended called Glenn Schultz Auto Body. The worst mistake ever. I told them it was a leased vehicle and the job had to be done right and they said yes, of course. I get the car back and I immediately see that there is a line where they taped off to paint...ON AN OPEN PANEL THEY JUST TAPED OFF A LINE NEAR THE REAR BUMPER! YOU CAN EASILY SEE WHERE IT WAS DONE!!! There was also a new scratch in the opposite panel. There is dirt specs all over the panel, there is dirt under the decal and 1 week later a discoloration has formed near the filler cap ( again, very easily noticed) I got an estimate from a reputable body shop to correct what was done (incidentally, they immediately noticed where the repair was done without me saying anything. $650.00. I went to Powder Mill and now they're saying it's between me and the body shop and refuse to do anything about it. This company claims they do towing for Morris County. I urge Morris County to re-evaluate who they do business with along with any other police agencies who do business with Powder Mill Towing. Powder Mill Towing drivers are dangerous and have absolutely no respect for the law. The driver who drove me to pick up my car was doing 85 mph on Rt 287. The owner of Powder Mill Towing must also be a complete idiot since he did not ever get involved with this incident. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!!! IF THEIR DRIVER HITS YOU GO THROUGH YOUR INSURANCE CO.
