2-Hour Delayed Opening for Parsippany Schools Friday

Announcement made before second snowstorm hits area.

After a day off and a foot of snow Thursday, the Parsippany School District has decided to open its doors late Friday.

A two-hour delayed opening was announced as crews continued to clean up from a nor'easter that walloped northern New Jersey.

But the announcement could come in vain, as another 3 to 6 inches of snow is expected to fall overnight Thursday into Friday, adding to the mess.

Friday will be the sixth school day in the last 10 with an altered bell schedule.
