Yom Kippur Family Service

Special Outdoor Yom Kippur/Day of Awe Family Service Adath Shalom of Parsippany is proud to present a special 45 minute outdoor "Under the Tent High Holiday Family Service" for Yom Kippur on September 26, 2012 at 9:30 am. This special program is led by Parsippany resident Maxine Smith and combines the best of traditional hymns, the story of Jonah and the Whale, with a youth/family orientation to tell the story of Yom Kippur aka the Day of Awe, a time of introspection and "teshuva" (forgiveness) in a fast paced, youth participating, enjoyable fashion that is easy to understand for all ages. This service is in addition to the full traditional service also being offered for Yom Kippur in the main sanctuary. The program is free for members and tickets for non-members are still available on a limited basis. Please call Adath Shalom at 973-539-4440 or office@adathshalom.net or stop by at 841 Mountain Way in Parsippany for further information.
