West Point's Female First Captain to Speak at Central Middle School

Montville native one of only four females to ever hold position at West Point.

Lindsey Danilack, who Wednesday lead and dismissed her fellow new officers upon graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY will be sharing her experiences, thoughts about leadership and following your dream to the 8th graders at Central Middle School in Parsippany on Friday.

Danilack, a 2010 graduate of Montville High School, was appointed First Captain and Brigade Commander of the Senior class. She was one of only a handful of graduates to receive her diploma personally from the President of the United States, Barack Obama.

After the graduation ceremony, she was personally commissioned a Second Lieutenant by the Superintendent of West Point, Lieutenant General Robert Caslen, Jr. in a private event.
