Par Hills Hall of Fame Nominees Announced

Parsippany Hills High School has announced its 2011 nominees for the school's Hall of Fame.

This year's inductees, who include all of those nominated, will be honored at the second annual Hall of Fame brunch Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The event immediately precedes the homecoming football game between Par Hills' Vikings and the Morristown Colonials. 

Organizer Susan Bonnet, who teaches health and physical education at the Hills, said anyone can make nominations for the honor. The inductees are chosen by the Parsippany Hills High School Hall of Fame committee: Principal Nancy Gigante, Vice Principal Michael DiSanto, Athletic Director and Vice Principal Todd Ricker and teachers John Pico, Chris Ramsden, Dan Olsen, and Sue Bonnet.

John Harper, Class of 1973

• Captain of PHHS basketball and baseball teams 1972-73

Nancy Zeltsman, Class of 1976

• World-renowned marimba player, teacher & recording artist
• Founder & Artistic Director of Zeltsman Marimba Festival

Michael Martino, Class of 1978
