All this week, Parsippany Patch shines a light on the best and brightest at the township's  and . It's our way of congratulating all the seniors for their hard work and wishing them all good luck in their futures before graduation takes place Wednesday.

The students were chosen by their respective principals, Natalie Betz and Dr. Nancy Gigante and were given the option to participate.

Today, we feature a chat with PHS' liaison, Andrew Seeber, 18.

What do you plan to do this summer? Work as a camp counselor for Parsippany Recreation.

What career are you thinking of, and why? I want to be a history teacher. Education is a huge part of my life, and I want to share that with others. Even as I teach, it is my life goal to never stop learning, and that's a principle that I want to pass on.

What is the most important thing you take away from your high school experience? Learning how to interact with others effectively. Everyone needs to learn this important skill because no man is an island.

What was the biggest challenge you overcame during your high school career? Balancing a wide range of activities, including rigorous academic courses and extracurricular activities such as clubs and sports.

What was your favorite part of high school? Senior year!

What was your favorite class? Civics. I learned so much about our country and its politics, but more importantly I learned about the world and how it functions. This is a class that everyone should take, regardless of their interests or plans for after high school, because everyone gets to vote.

Were you involved in volunteerism or community service through a school group? Tell us about it. Through Key Club, I participated in annual local service events such as Halloween at the High, a pasta dinner at Baldwin Oaks, Relay for Life, and Redstock, in addition to other events.

What was your most memorable high school experience? It's difficult to pick just one, but I guess I would pick prom. It completely lived up to our expectations. Everyone had a great time this year. The venue was fantastic, the music was varied, and the energy was palpable!

What advice would you give to someone on how to make the most of high school? Make the most of it, in more ways than one. Study, learn, and succeed, but be sure to enjoy yourself, too.

What was it like working with the Board of Education, and what did you learn from the experience? Reporting on school events and sharing my thoughts on the BOE this year has been a mutually beneficial experience; not only did I learn a lot about how our school district functions, but also I was able to communicate the student body's feelings to the members of the board. I'm grateful to my classmates and advisors and to the board for the opportunity to serve.
