Police: Home Broken Into, Intruder May Have Urinated in Room

String of break-ins continue as Knoll Garden apartment also burglarized.

An intruder apparently urinated in a room of a Nokomis Avenue home Wednesday after using a large cinder block to break a window and gain entry, said.

Nothing was reported missing from the home, which was being renovated, when Parsippany detectives responded, police said.

But there were signs of "criminal mischief,'' according to police.

"Someone may have possibly urinated in one of the rooms," Parsippany Police Sgt. Yvonne Christiano said.

Also on Wednesday, a Mara Road apartment located in the Knoll Gardens apartment complex was reported burglarized between the morning and afternoon hours.

Entry was gained through an unsecured kitchen window and items reported missing included a Dell laptop computer and several video gaming systems. The total value of the loss is unknown, police said.

The incident followed a in the Lake Hiawatha and Tabor Road areas.
