2 Parsippany Student-Athletes Honored, Given College Scholarships

Parsippany High, Parsippany Hills High students among 29 in Morris County receiving recognition.

Two student-athletes from Parsippany Hills and Parsippany High schools were honored recently by the New Jersey Interscholastic Athletic Association, both bringing home college scholarships.

Hyejin Kim, from Parsippany High School, and Roma Desai, from Parsippany Hills High School, were among 29 student-athletes in Morris County recognized during the event.

Kim was awarded $1,000 for college costs by the NJSCA. Desai received $500 from Success Communications. Sixteen of the 29 honorees were randomly chosen to receive donated scholarships.

A total of $11,500 was awarded to the 16 student-athletes.
