Cerrato Leads Parsippany High's Surge

Senior pitcher dominating on the mound, clutch at the plate as Red Hawks even record at 11-11.

After starting the season winless through four games, the baseball team has taken noticeable strides, improving its record to .500 at 11-11.

The Red Hawks continued its surge last Tuesday, as senior pitcher Clayton Cerrato led the Red Hawks to one of their biggest wins of the season, throwing seven scoreless innings and helping Parsippany to its first Mayor’s Cup victory over Parsippany Hills, 6-0.

Under the lights at Smith Field, Cerrato struck out 12, while allowing just four hits and no runs.
