Daniel Galorenzo Foundation to Hold 8th Annual Golf Classic

The Daniel Galorenzo Foundation will hold its 8th annual golf classic on Tuesday, August 16 at the Knoll Country Club West in Parsippany.

Daniel Galorenzo was a Hanover resident and Seton Hall Prep wrestler who died suddenly of an aortic aneurysm in 2002 at age 16.

The foundation's mission is to make donations to children's charities in order to improve the quality of life for children with life-threatening illnesses. The foundation has raised more than $400,000 and the majority of that has been donated to the Valerie Fund and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as a number of other organizations and directly to special interest/special needs children.
