Parsippany Hockey Stops Par Hills

Par Hills boys basketball falls.

 

Drew Hall’s game-high 21 points fueled the Jefferson boys basketball team past Parsippany Hills, 59-45, in the first round of the Morris Knolls Holiday Tournament in Rockaway on Tuesday.

Jefferson jumped out to an early lead, keyed by Hall and Jon Kristofferson’s 13 points, but Par Hills fought back in the second quarter and headed into halftime trailing 26-21.

But an 18-10 run by Jefferson in the third quarter squashed any hopes of a comeback for Par Hills, as the Falcons cruised to its third win of the season.

Connor Clark led all Par Hills scorers with 12 points.

Parsippany Hockey Stops Par Hills

Six Parsippany players scored goals in the Red Hawks 8-6 win over cross-town rival Par Hills on Tuesday at Mennen Arena, according to NJ.com.

Leading the way for Parsippany (3-5) were Dan Bellafiore and Bryan Varsalone with two goals each. Cory DeCosta scored four goals for Par Hills (1-8).

Parsippany, Par Hills Girls Fall

The Parsippany girls basketball team fell to Glen Rock in the first round of the Colt Corral Tournament in Kinnelon, despite 19 points from Ashley Burroughs, according to NJ.com.

Margi Rivera finished with a game high 23 points for Glen Rock (4-0).

The Par Hills girls also lost on Tuesday, this one a 39-33 defeat at the hands of Fort Lee, according to NJ.com.
