Temple University’s football team just got a whole lot stronger.
Parsippany Hills Viking and defensive end Michael Dogbe signed his Letter of Intent Wednesday to play for the Pennsylvania college, according to nj.com, and brings a world of talent. He committed to Temple over the summer, but made it official this week.
Dogbe was selected by the Star-Ledger as a first-team All-State defensive player, standing at 6-4 and 240 lbs.
The senior made the most of his final high school season as a member of the reigning North 2, Group 3 champions, recording 127 tackles, 21.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, the report said.
Temple University recruited 24 new football players, with Dogbe three others claiming New Jersey roots, according to its website. The Owls went just 2-10 in 2013.
