Par Troy East Ride in Little League World Series Parade
The yearly parade is Williamsport's way of welcoming the players and everyone attending the Little League World Series.
The 66th annual Little League World Series was officially begun Wednesday with the Grand Slam Parade in Williamsport, Pa.
The Americana-themed parade honored the players who will compete to earn the title of 2012 World Series champions, including Parsippany's own Par-Troy Little League East All-Stars.

Games between teams from eight U.S. and eight international regions begin on Thursday. Par-Troy East, representing the Mid-Atlantic region, plays its first game Friday at 3 p.m. against the Southwestern region champs from San Antonio, Texas.
