Parsippany Boys Hoopsters Stop Par Hills
High school basketball tops today's Parsippany Playback.
Lionel Chambers and Max Berns each scored 13 points to lead the Parsippany High School boys basketball team past crosstown rival Par Hills, 55-46, Tuesday at Parsippany Hills High School.
The High locked up its second win of the season with a dominant third quarter that saw the Red Hawks outscore Par Hills, 25-11, and take a 16-point lead.
A late fourth quarter surge from the Hills proved unsuccessful, and despite an 11-point effort from Michael DiEdwardo and a combined 20 points from Manny Dance and Connor Clark, Par Hills fell to 3-7.

Leonard Lee finished with 10 points and Marcus Ferrar added seven for Parsippany. Kire Milerski scored eight points for Par Hills.

With just under three minutes remaining, freshman basketball guard Marlene Arabia sank a 3-pointer, giving Butler a 24-23 lead-which it would not relinquish.
It was the freshman’s only basket of the game, which ended 28-25 as Butler improved to 4-6 on the season.
Maja Sekulovska added 11 points for a Butler team that was held to just two points in the opening frame, but went into halftime tied.
Rebecca Zimmermann finished with 11 points and Niyah Lamar, Ashley Burroughs and Alyssa Kastrunis added four points apiece for Parsippany (3-7).
Parsippany, Par Hills Wrestlers Win
The Parsippany wrestling team stopped Chatham, 66-9, according to NJ.com.
The Par Hills wrestling team improved to 8-3 with a 36-27 win over Mendham, according to NJ.com.
Jeel Patel (106 pounds), Kyle Bota (126), Devon Cochran (138), James McGinley (195) and Adrian Macko (285) all recorded pins for Par Hills.
