Parsippany High School saw three teams compete on Monday, while the girls volleyball team with the only Par Hills team to see action. At the end of the day, just two clubs walked away with wins.
Parsippany Girls Soccer Stops Madison
The Parsippany girls soccer team went up against Madison (5-3-1) on Monday, and came out with a 2-1 victory in Parsippany, according to NJ.com. Kayla Birth got things going in the first half for Parsippany, and Tiffany Kelly sealed the win with a second half goal. Parsippany is 7-2 in 2011.

PHS Girls Volleyball Stops Villa Walsh in Two Sets
The girls volleyball team took just two sets to defeat Villa Walsh (6-5), 25-16 and 25-18, moving its record to 7-6 in 2011. Michelle Merida led the way with 14 kills and Amanda Grevesen chipped in with 20 assists in the win, according to NJ.com.

Red Hawk Soccer Drops Game to Madison
The boys soccer team fell to 2-6 on the season with a 5-1 loss to Madison (5-3) on Monday. Par Hills struggled to keep the ball out of the net as two goals from Madison senior forward Vincent Bennett, helped Madison to a 3-0 lead at halftime. Parsippany's lone goal to came in the 47th minute by Mawuii Allorbi, according to NJ.com.

The Parsippany Hills volleyball team fell to 4-10 this season with a 2-0 loss to Sparta (5-4), according to NJ.com.
