The school year is underway, and that means fall sports are starting for Parsippany High School varsity squads. As the opening games   approach, we'll take a look at each of the teams as they ready for competition. Today, we take a look at the Red Hawks football team.

OVERVIEW

LAST SEASON'S RESULTS

The Red Hawks finished the season with a 2-8 record. They started the season with their first win after a long drought, beating Marist, 13-8.  It wasn't until their consolation game against Palisade Park that they picked up their second win, 55-18.

COACH'S TAKE

  • "Our outlook this season looks bright and our kids have been putting in a lot of work in the off-season and pre-season. We have more of a team chemistry and understanding of our systems. Our defense will be our strong point and return six starters from last year's squad that will lead that defense. Our offense is coming along with a better understanding of our system and we have kids stepping into a varsity role this year that were not there last year. We hope to expand our team and expect to be competitive and strong throughout the season." — Coach Adams
