Par-Troy East Takes Down Mendham in Softball Tournament
Team of 9 and 10-year-olds will host Morristown Thursday night.
As the weather heats up, so do the baseball and softball playoffs, and the Par-Troy East Softball team is as hot as they come.
The nine- and 10-year-olds took on Mendham in the District 1 pool play Tuesday night and came out victorious with an 8-4 win.
Rachel Volarich pitched 6 innings in the win with help at the plate from Arianna Urban and Elizabeth Cogan hitting doubles and Jessica Reich tripling to power the offense.

The squad will host the Morristown National team Thursday night at 6 p.m. at Par-Troy East complex Gallo Field.
