Principe Goes 2-for-2, Steals 3 Bases in Parsippany Loss
Red Hawks unable to capitalize on early chances, fall to Whippany Park.
The softball team struggled against Whippany Park, and despite a first inning that showed promise, the Red Hawks were beated 13-0 in five innings on Thursday.

The Red Hawks had runners on second and third with no outs in the first inning and the bases loaded with one out, but were unable to score, giving the early momentum to Whippany Park. The Cats jumped on the opening, scoring three runs in the first inning and two in the third inning, before closing out the game with an eight-run fourth inning to create the winning margin.
RED HAWK OF THE GAME
Kelsey Principe— The center fielder and leadoff hitter went 2-for-2 with two singles and was the only Red Hawk to reach third base. She also swiped three bases in the game. The senior, who had the team's only hit, notched her 100th career hit in the Red Hawks' game last Friday.
OTHER KEY PERFORMANCES
Courtney Simon (Whippany Park), 4-for-4 with two triples, two singles, three runs scored, a steal and an RBI; Brianna Cetrulo (Whippany Park), went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs scored and four RBIs.
