Parsippany Girls Soccer Heads to Sectional Final

Red Hawks upend Whippany Park to advance to final.

There were two important games on Monday for the Red Hawks and for girls soccer, their win secured them a spot in the state finals.

After an upset victory against second-seeded Madison last week, sixth-seeded girls soccer defeated seventh-seeded Whippany Park High School 2-0 in the semifinals of the NJSIAA Tournament on Monday.

They've only allowed one goal over their first three games in the NJSIAA and head to face fifth-seeded Bernards in the finals on Thursday.

Unfortunately, girls field hockey did not find success on the field. They lost to West Essex 5 - 3 at home at Jannarone Field in the sectional finals of the NJSIAA State Tournament.
