Par Hills Football Heads to State Tournament

Fourth-seeded Vikings face No. 5 South Plainfield Saturday at home.

With the Red Hawks advancing in the NJSIAA Tournament, the Vikings are also making a name for themselves.

"We are 7-2 and headed back to the playoffs for the 3rd straight year," said Head Coach David Albano. "In 2011 we lost in the state finals to Cranford, and Last year we lost in the state semi finals to Summit. This year we are the 4th seed and hosting South Plainfield.  Preparation for this game start today, and anytime you play a team you are not familiar with it posses a lot of problems.  They are a spread team like us and they run very well on D so it should be a great match up."

"The PHHS football team will be playing in the first round of the NJ State football playoffs," said John Mucciolo, vice president of the PH FB Parents Association Board. "This is an exciting event for PHHS."
