Welcome to February, Parsippany!
The shortest month of the year is here, and there’s plenty going on. Let’s take a look.
It’s tax time and the community is here to help its seniors. The first day of tax assistance for Parsippany seniors is available at 9 a.m. at the Community Center on Knoll Road on Tuesday, Feb. 4. All local seniors are invited to come in for assistance.
Also on Tuesday, the Parsippany Mayor and Council will hold an agenda meeting at 7:30 p.m. at 1001 Parsippany Road. The meeting is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.
The Parsippany Lacrosse Club will host its second annual program meeting on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. for residents interested in signing their children up for the program. The meeting will be held at Parsippany High School. Find out more here.
Finally, as you may have heard, Parsippany Patch is under the direction of a new editor. His name is Jason Koestenblatt, and he’s new to the beat. He’d love to hear from you – specifically about which stories in town you feel deserve proper coverage. We can’t be everywhere all the time, and rely on our readers to help us with tips and information.
Reach out to him at email@example.com.
Have a great week, Parsippany!
