Par-Troy Council, Zoning Board Meetings in the Week Ahead

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Council will meet at Parsippany Hills High School on Tuesday.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Council will meet for a public session on Tuesday, July 9 at 7:30 p.m. The venue has been changed to Parsippany Hills High School, located at 20 Rita Drive. An agenda is not yet available.

At the last council meeting, on June 18, the council adopted its $62 million 2013 municipal budget — with a zero percent tax increase. The budget narrowly passed by a 3-1 vote. With Councilman Michael DePierro absent, the vote fell to Councilmen Jonathan Nelson and Paul Carifi, both of whom voted against the introduction of the budget in May. Carifi again voted against the measure which then fell onto the shoulders of Nelson, who ultimately voted in favor.

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet on Wednesday, July 10 at 7:30 at the Municipal Building, 1001 Parsippany Blvd.
