Par-Troy Library to Honor Vets Through Song

The annual Veterans Day Ceremony will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park in Parsippany. For more information, go to this Patch article.

Also, the Parsippany Library will recognize veterans in a different way with an event called "A Salute To Our Veterans In Song" from 7 - 8 p.m. Carol Erickson is a popular vocalist, who will be participating in this event.

Erickson has sung in many places including Carrie Jackson's Vocal Collective, Skippers Plane Club, the Crossroads, and Trumpets Open Mic, according to the library, adding that Erickson has been widely heard throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania giving voice to the songs of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Hoagy Carmichael, and other American composers.

The Central MS yearbook sale begins on Monday and two PTAs also meet, both at 7 p.m.—Rockaway Meadow and Northvail.

PHHS Club Photos will be from Monday – Thursday after school.
