Comedy Show Benefits Sick Comedian This Weekend in Parsippany

A comedy show at Pure Parsippany will benefit Otto Petersen of Otto & George, who fell ill with Bacterial Meningitis.

This weekend Parsippany and local residents will have to opportunity to have a laugh and a drink for a good cause.

A truly legendary comedy act, Otto & George, who has been performing for almost 40 years, now needs help from the community. Otto & George is an adult themed ventriloquist which has appeared on Opie & Anthony, David Letterman, the Aristocrats, Penn and Teller and more.

Otto Petersen recently fell ill with Bacterial Meningitis and was placed in a coma for over a week. He is on the mend, but his medical expenses will be high and his loss of income is great.

A comedy performance will take place on Sunday, July 28 at Pure Parsippany, located at 707 Route 46 East in Parsippany. The comedy show will run from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

Tickets will cost $30 in advance and $35 at the door. 100 percent of all proceeds will be going towards Otto's medical bills.

Performers include Rich Vos, Bonnie Mcfarlane with more to be announced. Rev. Bob levy will serve as host for the evening.
