Parsippany Fire And Rescue Hold Annual Car Show

The show, featuring unique cars, trucks, motorcycles and vehicles will be held at Lanidex Plaza on Sunday, Aug. 18 to raise money for the departments.

Parsippany Rescue and Recovery Unit and Lake Parsippany Fire Department will hold their third annual car show to raise money for the departments.

The show, featuring unique cars, trucks, motorcycles and vehicles will be held at Lanidex Plaza on Sunday, Aug. 18 to raise money for the departments.

The event starts at 11 a.m. and runs to 3 p.m.

“The event is open to anyone and spectators are invited to see classic and new cars, jeeps and trucks in addition to motorcycles and special apparatus,” members of the departments said in a written statement. “People who own such vehicles are invited to register for the event.”

A prize will be awarded to each best in class vehicle owner. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle and tricky tray along with food, soda and music. No alcohol will be permitted but non-food vendors are welcome.

Proceeds will go to Parsippany Rescue and Recovery Unit and Lake Parsippany Fire Department to help continue their service to the township of Parsippany.
