This whole thing is absurd. Change the hours? What was requirement when she was hired? Now she wantsRead More to have a company change it's hours to accommodate her after she interviewed and worked for them knowing full well where they were located and the hours. This person should be charged with a frivolous lawsuit and fined or imprisoned for such stupidity. She should be smart enough to be thankful she has a job these days. How about waking up earlier and beating the traffic? Then staying a little later and waiting until it subsides? Another person looking for a hand out. Sadly the bank's lawyer or insurance company will advise them to settle and pay her off to go away.

Bravo Nicholas, that is the sole reason for a company from China to set up operations in the south,Read More pay the workers sinfully LOW, unliveable wages.....
Selene May 30, 2014 at 05:29 pm
I suppose John here believes the corporations and the economy will suffer if workers are paid $10,Read More $15 even $20 an hour????? What John doesn't understand is the ENORMOUS profits these companies rake in .....he also doesn't understand the awful greed our government supports when corporations are given tax relief and tax havens and bail out money when they have a bad year. We have socialism for the corporations, not for the people. The logical solution is this, pay workers good wages and they will push it back into the economy by spending more....how can so many low wage earners stimulate the economy when they can't pay their rents/mortgages, utilities or grocery bills. They can't. The middle class historically has stimulated the economy the most and since the middle class is shrinking soo rapidly we have this lull, recession, that won't go away.
Alexis Betancourt May 31, 2014 at 01:20 pm
The only reason they are moving their company to the south is because they are used to paying lowRead More wages in China, no Unions, etc. In NJ the wages are higher and SC has low wages. It's all in the money.

Mike, usually doesn't mean always. Businesses are so vulnerable in this small town, that anRead More insinuation like that could hurt it. Because I have been to this friendly restaurant so many times, I know the chef has had the mind to change it to his own name for many years. Changing it right away would have been riskier, since Tim Schaefer had a large following. Now everyone is used to the transition. The chef walks around regularly and greets his guests. It appears to be the right time. I am saying this to you respectfully.
Mike D May 29, 2014 at 11:34 am
Yo, understandable. 'Small' businesses are vulnerable in 'NJ'. Everyone would rather buy bulk. NotRead More many people support small business. I would say that it is because everyone is broke, but wealthy people also skimp. Why spend $15 on an entre at a small bistro when I can spend $8.99 at Applebees? I go to local small restaurants, but Ill admit, every now and then I crave Red Robin. I will never eat 'bakery' baked goods unless it is bread. I buy at farmers markets....the stuff that people actually make, not the stuff that fake small businesses buy in bulk and re-package. So Im not saying its a bad thing....that what small business HAVE to do. go bankrupt, change your name, sell to paper people.....but some do abuse it.

PDH The restaurant competition in Morristown is now fiercer than it has ever been in the last 30-50Read More years. Tim Schaeffer's was successful. So much so, that he left Morristown, sold his business and moved with his family (I think he went to North Carolina.) He had FANTASTIC food, well worth the price. It is a very small, expensive restaurant with relatively few tables. The new name , in my opinion, is a disaster, because while it may be the new owner's first name, it is going to be confused with "Fatty's". As in "Who's on First. Why. No, Why's on second." Let's go to Fatty's. Do you mean Freddy's? No, I mean Fatty's. Huh? Let's just go to the Morristown Diner. OK, I'll meet you there. I agree three different food choices and three different price points, but you really do want to meet up in the same place. So, Very Best of Luck To You, but I see failure to differentiate, failure to make a profit and failure in the very near future.

Do not buy from breeders!! Most are puppy mills. Many are in PA. They over breed for income. AnimalsRead More are abused, not given medical attention and will die there when they can no longer produce litters. How can you advertise for them? ADOPT FROM AN ANIMAL SHELTER !!!!!!!
