Post by Nancy Heins-Glaser. This make me very sad. Rebhorn was a true gentleman - the quiet andRead More gentle sort of a person who understood what really matters in life. Jim communicated this sincere knowing through his honest, open conversations whether in passing on the running track, during community events, or when interviewed. He was a great actor and a wonderful person. He touched a lot of people - what a loss for all of us. I am sending Jim's family prayerful and caring thoughts.

My father and I met James through family friends and the few times we got to talk to him you couldRead More see that he was a selfless giver. Everyone I've talked to that said they knew Jimmy had nothing bad to say about him. Everything is positive. My father and I had the opportunity to sit and talk to him about history. He will be missed. RIP Jimmy and may the Lord Bless you and your family and friends. Thank you for your service to this country, Sir. God Bless!!!

@Parsippany resident. Your post surprised me. You had an opportunity to post what a great personRead More Jimmy was, and how he served our country and community, like others have posted. Instead, you chose to pollute his memory with some personal vendetta you have. I flagged your comment and I hope others do the same. You are the one who seems uneducated and vindictive – not professional at all. Jimmy was a great man – may you rest in peace Jim, and thank you for your service to our country and community.

@ Jim Smith ~~ So, you flagged my post because it didn't satisfy your idea of what I should haveRead More said, even though it doesn't violate the rules for posting on Patch, which is the only reason a post shall be deleted by Patch; and even though you were warned about the rules with a pop up when you clicked flag, telling you when you are allowed to flag posts, you clicked flag again anyway. I think that says more about you than my post says about me. #2, Who do you think you are to tell me what I 'should' have posted. I will post any darn thing I choose whether it pleases you or not, and "I hope everyone else" agrees with me. #3, What kind of society are we developing into where people are readily thinking how to control other people's freedom of speech when it doesn't meet their needs? I suppose your freedom to control me is more important than my freedom of speech. And what about the pansy society as well, that allows others freedom to think they can?? @Jimmy again~~ Your post surprised me. You had an opportunity to not pick a fight with me or to not control me like everyone else but you chose to pollute this posts by being parochial, as always.

Parsippany Resident - Great comments. Everything you write is true. Rest assured, there are stillRead More many people who believe in the statement " I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"
