Applebee's Apple Going Green for St. Paddy's

Chain restaurant offers special dishes for the Irish-themed celebration.

The celebrating starts Friday, March 15 and runs through Sunday, March 17 at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar in Parsippany.   "In honor of St. Patrick’s Day people wear green, go out and have a good time and, of course, eat corned beef and cabbage while enjoying a draft or two," said Kevin Coughlin, director of operations for Applebee’s New Jersey. Applebee's Launches New Look, 'Hometown' Theme

Parsippany branch of the national chain focuses on the neighborhood.

The Applebee’s at 1057 Route 46 East is a restaurant transformed.  Step inside this Parsippany restaurant and you’ll spot the change immediately: Huge floor-to-ceiling photo collages featuring local high school students and other community notables are the centerpiece of a fully remodeled interior. “Applebee’s is an important part of the Parsippany neighborhood and our colorful new photo murals reflect that,” said General Manager John Antosiewicz.  In keeping with Applebee’s “hometown” theme, the stars of the full-color wall art are students from neighboring high schools, including the township's Parsippany and Parsippany Hills high schools, Summit's Oratory Prep, Whippany Park High School and Mountain Lakes High.
