$87K in Street Drugs Seized After Police Probe

Parsippany man is being held on $175K bail at the Morris County Jail for allegedly planning to sell controlled substances in a school zone.

Parsippany Police report a weeks-long investigation into a suspected drug distribution effort in a school zone resulted in a raid and arrest last Friday at the home of a local man. Police say approximately $87,000 in illegal substances including marijuana, cocaine and Ecstasy was recovered. The PPD's Investigative Division launched a probe several weeks ago after gathering information about controlled substances being sold within the township, according to a police statement. On Friday, officers executed a search warrant on the residence of 30-year-old Justin Caron. Department spokesperson Ptlm. Heroin, Crack Found in Knoll Gardens Drug Bust, Cops Say

Two men, from Lake Hiawatha and Boonton, are being held in lieu of $200K bail each.

Parsippany Police say two men were arrested during a Sunday drug bust that yielded large quantities of crack cocaine and heroin at the Knoll Gardens apartment complex. According to police, the Sunday afternoon bust turned up heroin, rock cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and items used in drug distribution. Lake Hiawatha resident Tolga Gezer, 18, and 21-year-old Daniel Wendt of Boonton face charges including possession of controlled substances, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute and possession of a weapon in the commission of a crime, according to a PPD statement. They are being held at the Morris County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail each. Get the dogs in the schools. If these are just past graduates most likely they are feeding the drugs to the kids. There must be low level suppliers in the schools to help out their friends that just got busted.   more ›

Bust Turns Up Crack Cocaine, Oxycodone Pills

Three township men face several drug charges following a bust in a North Beverwyck Road parking lot last month, Parsippany Police said Wednesday. Ali Hakimi, 22, was charged with possession of 20 Oxycodone pills without a valid prescription, possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute and possession of narcotics with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of school (Lake Hiawatha Elementary School). He was transported to headquarters for processing before being turned over to the Morris County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. Daryl Rinaldi, 21, was charged with possession of three small Ziplock bags of crack cocaine, posession of 20 Oxycodone pills with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of drug …

Police: Car Contained Stolen Gun, Drugs

More than 120 pills and tablets found during a traffic stop on I-80.

Three men are being held on bail at the Morris County Jail following their arrest Tuesday afternoon on drug and weapons charges, according to New Jersey State Police. A police spokesperson said troopers found a stolen handgun and drugs including Ecstasy and oxymorphone pills when they stopped a vehicle on Interstate 80 East near Parsippany at about 1 p.m. Tuesday. According to Sgt. Brian Polite, officers pulled over a car and, after detecting the odor or marijuana, obtained a search warrant. The troopers' search uncovered drugs including 79 Ecstasy tablets, 48 oxymorphone pills and a small amount of marijuana. Police also discovered a loaded .45 caliber handgun that Sgt. Polite confirmed was one stolen during a crime in Florida. Troopers …
